Rocky Mountain Skiing

Ski Granby Ranch is an ideal ski destination for young families and casual skiers, and is the perfect place to learn. The resort offers terrain for all ages and abilities at an affordable price without the crowds common at the larger resorts. The ski lift is a short walk from the house.

For the more serious skiing crowd, Winter Park is a mere 25 minute, traffic-free drive along scenic highway 40 and features enough world class slopes to keep anybody happy.

Just 20 minutes from Granby Ranch in the small town of Fraser sits the Fraser tubing hill. The two hills are equipped with lifts that effortlessly pull you and your tube up the hill so that you can go racing back down again. Second to skiing, this is definitely our favorite winter outing.
